Paul Getty Museum is a cultural and philanthropical institution dedicated to inspiring curiosity about the visual arts by collecting, conserving, and exhibiting European paintings, sculpture, decorative art, photography, and illuminated manuscripts. Scholars, artists, and art lovers can now have access, without the need of permission, to digital images to which the Getty holds the rights or that are in the public domain. Individuals can use, reuse creatively, and alter these images for any purpose.
